Problems in the climate and problems in the weather
Have you noticed or experienced a happiness slump? If you were to draw your happiness graph over the last few years, what would it look like?

But really it’s: Faith, family, friends, work that serves others
Who has chased idols and how have you redirected towards the true north’s of happiness?
Nutrient needs vs. caloric needs
Macro nutrients: enjoyment (pleasure + people + memory), satisfaction, purpose
What provides you with superficial happiness and what provides you with deep nutritious happiness in your life?

Emotions are just information, separate yourself from the thing you’re feeling
Miriam note (I’ll expand on this IRL): Writing something down brings it from limbic to pre-frontal cortex. It’s like affect labeling, naming the thing you’re feeling in the moment: “I’m nervous to give this talk…?”-- do you have any examples of having done that? What do you think?
